Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center

6282 Cranberry Road

Finland, MN 55603

Wolf Ridge is an environmental learning center located in Finland, MN. The center is structured as a small campus (all buildings are about 3-5 minutes from each other) and encourages community engagement and learning. This is a camp-type setting. You will be in rooms/bathrooms with up to 4 other attendees and all rooms are within a larger dorm structure.

The best airport to easily fly into is MSP Minneapolis/St. Paul which is about 4 hours south of Wolf Ridge. However, there are flights to DLH Duluth, which would put you about 1.5 hours outside of the venue.

If you're looking for a carpool to the venue, you can do your coordinating on our Facebook Event Page.

You are in advanced mode.

You can turn it off in left sidebar. To use advanced options, you will need to enter your own Google Maps API Key.

How will I know where to go when I get there?

We are wrapping up locations of each session and will have a map that is provided to you when you arrive. We'll also have volunteers helping guide us throughout the weekend.

Are people carpooling?

What should I bring?

This is a camp-like setting, so aside from bedding linens, no real amenities are included (like shampoo/conditioner at a hotel). You'll want to bring those items and then anything else you might need depending on what you’d like to participate in. Here are some suggestions:

- Yoga Mat if you have (we will have a limited amount)

- Yoga blanket or throw to be used with meditation

- Yoga props (if you have any and it makes sense to bring them)

- Comfy clothes (sweats, sweatshirts/sweaters, slippers, heavy socks)

- Outdoor clothes (warmer fall items, boots, hat, mittens, etc.)

- Toiletries

- Any bedding you’d want in addition to a blanket and pillow (e.g., extra blanket if you tend to get cold)

- Water bottle

- Snacks (we will have some, but in case you don't like we recommend you bring something up!)

- Drinks (anything besides water, coffee, juice that you'd like to drink) - FYI you may be required to take extra garbage back with you to the cities

- A book - or two or three if you read as fast as Nora and want some introvert time.

- A journal/pen

- A bag to carry stuff around in to each session

I have a food allergy or intolerance - how do I make sure there is food I can eat?

I'm coming up with a friend, can we be in the same room?

We will do our best to accommodate these requests. Please fill out the following form and we'll do what we can!

I have a special request, how do I let yo know about that?

I have another question not listed.

Please send an email to and we'll get back to you as soon as we can!

How do I sign up for a massage?

You can fill out the form here with your preferred time. First come, first served and we'll get you scheduled!
